Barn of Monkeys is a Portuguese children's clothing brand based in Vila do Conde, dressing children and teenagers from 2 to 16 and keeping a line dedicated to babies. The pieces are cut from GOTS-certified organic cotton fabrics and produced in Portugal; the brand belongs to Ecovest – Sociedade Têxtil, a garment maker on Avenida José Ramos Maia, in Vila do Conde. The range runs from T-shirts, sweatshirts and dresses to rompers, pants, leggings, skirts, bodysuits and pajamas, with swimwear, accessories and a footwear line developed in partnership with Dulis. The design favors straight lines, soft colors and comfort, and the pieces are made to last more than a season. Launched in 2017, with the debut collection shown at Pitti Bimbo, the brand sums up its proposition in the idea of stories that you wear: each collection starts from a story with something to teach, which carries through into the prints and the names of the pieces. Recognition came early — Pirouette's One-to-Watch Award and Bubble London's Rising Star Award — and opened the way to distribution in stores in Europe, the United States and Asia.
