IVO Cutelarias has been making kitchen knives and professional knives in Portugal since 1954, from its base in Santa Catarina, in the municipality of Caldas da Rainha. Its cutlery range covers almost every job in a kitchen: chef's knives, santoku and deba, knives for bread, ham, steak, tomatoes, filleting and boning, cleavers, peelers, carving forks and carving sets, cheese sets, spatulas, stainless-steel and carbon-steel pocket knives, sharpening steels and sharpeners, scissors and knife cases. The Point 1954 line uses cryogenically treated stainless steel; the Premier line is forged. There is also a range for hotel and catering schools. The company holds ISO 14001 environmental certification and EMAS registration, and is a Sociedade Ponto Verde partner for packaging waste.
