Vandoma is a Portuguese brand founded in 1982 in Porto by António Manuel de Sousa, and owned by the company António Manuel de Sousa, Lda. The name honors Nossa Senhora da Vandoma, patron saint of Porto, whose image has been venerated in the city's cathedral since the year 990. Specializing in men's fashion accessories, the brand makes handmade silk ties, bow ties, pocket squares and other accessories, using silk fabrics from Italy's oldest artisan workshops and assembling every piece by hand at its factory in Porto. Now run in part by the second generation, Ana Lisa Sousa, the founder's daughter, Vandoma keeps a collection that pairs classic and exuberant patterns, refreshed regularly, with a commitment to timeless pieces that pass from one generation to the next.
