Aromas da Villa is a Portuguese artisanal soap house, the first in Condeixa-a-Nova, specializing in premium handmade soaps based on extra virgin olive oil. It was founded in October 2019 by the artisan Sandra Almeida, who is behind all the production, and opened a physical store and an online store in December of that year. The products are made by hand, one at a time, without industrial machinery, from extra virgin olive oil from the region, essential oils and aromatic herbs, and with no artificial colorings, preservatives or synthetic fragrances. The workshop has been recognized by the Portuguese state as a Unidade Produtiva Artesanal since 2020, was a finalist in the Innovation category of the Prémio Nacional de Artesanato 2021 and is a member of the British Guild of Craft Soaps. The formulas comply with European regulations 1223/2009 and 655/2013, with independent safety assessment and registration with INFARMED and the European cosmetics portal CPNP. Alongside its traditional and premium soap lines, the brand produces solid shampoos, soy wax candles, heat pads filled with olive pits, wellness kits and DIY candle kits, and keeps a Zero Waste line and a line of amenities for the hotel trade, together with personalization services and sales to resellers.
