Costa Verde is a Portuguese maker of tableware porcelain, founded in 1992 in Vagos, in the district of Aveiro, where it still keeps its factory with more than 35,000 m² of covered area. Across almost three decades of steady growth, the brand has expanded into more than 50 international markets, with around 70% of turnover coming from abroad. Production is aimed mainly at hotels and restaurants, but also at retail, with contemporary and themed collections — from farm-to-table inspired lines to table decoration pieces — built around the idea of functional elegance. The factory includes direct digital printing technology onto porcelain, in partnership with Kerajet and Torrecid. Costa Verde operates under the integrated CVIS system, certified to ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO 50001 (energy), among others, and produces around 25% of the electricity it consumes through 3,696 photovoltaic panels installed at the factory.
