Frize is more than just a Portuguese water brand; it is an attitude that pairs pride in its origin with a naturally carbonated turbulence. It emerged in Vila Flor, Trás-os-Montes, from an act of provocation by an earth that decided to tremble, giving rise to a restless water, bubbling and full of life. Since 1994 Frize has shaken up the market with firsts such as Frize Limão, the first flavored water in Portugal, and with inventive advertising built around stand-up comedy. Over the years Frize has introduced new flavors — fig, passion fruit, strawberry and lemon-cola — while keeping its irreverent, good-humored personality throughout. More recently it launched the Botânicos line, a water flavored with botanical notes that works as a natural and unexpected "mocktail". The new bottle, launched in 2007, has become an icon of the brand, reflecting its youth and its irreverence.
