Fruut is a Portuguese brand of dried fruit snacks, with orchards and a factory in Satão, Viseu. The idea is as simple as it is powerful: take the apples the market rejects for being "imperfect" and turn them into snacks that are 100% natural, crisp and irresistible. That is how Fruut Chips, Fruut Sticks and Fruut Mix came about — pure fruit, with no added sugar, no colorings and no preservatives. It all starts at Quinta de Vilar, in Satão, where the apples that give every Fruut pack its flavor are grown. The production process is deliberately simple: wash, peel, slice and dry in a hot air oven at temperatures no higher than 80 °C. The result is a 100% fruit snack — crisp, natural and with all the concentrated flavor of Portuguese fruit. The range includes apple Chips (red, green and with cinnamon), apple Sticks (strawberry and lemon flavor) and Mix with peanut or almond and coconut. All with no added sugar, no gluten and no preservatives — the ideal snack for school, the office, sport or travel. By choosing the fruit the market discards, Fruut helps fight food waste. The peels and cores are reused as animal feed and nothing goes to waste. Snacks that are good for the people who eat them — and for the planet.
