ISTO. é uma marca portuguesa de moda masculina, fundada em 2017 em Lisboa, no Porto, em Berlim.

ISTO. makes everyday clothing for men — T-shirts, shirts, polos, pants, denim, knitwear, jackets and socks — and, more recently, a children's line. The pieces are produced in Portugal by GOTS-certified suppliers, from organic cotton, linen, merino wool, recycled MWool® and less common materials such as Bananatex®, a fabric made from banana plant fiber. What sets the brand apart is how it talks about money. Each piece is sold with a breakdown of what it cost — fabric, making, transport and margin — and ISTO. publishes an annual public account of those figures. The list of factories it works with is on the site, one by one, and the program it calls Factourism takes customers to visit them. The brand was launched in July 2017 by Pedro Palha, with Vasco Mendonça, Pedro Gaspar and Martim Manoel, none of them from the textile sector. The name is an acronym of the four ideas they settled on at the start: Independent, Superb, Transparent, Organic. Online trade has since been joined by four stores in Lisboa — Chiado, Príncipe Real, Campo de Ourique and Amoreiras — one in Porto and another in Berlim (Berlin). There is also a repair program, to extend the life of pieces already sold, and editions made from surplus fabric stock.
