Missus is a Portuguese swimsuits and bikinis brand founded in 2016 by Marta Matias, a graduate in Graphic and Industrial Design, based in Oeiras. Born out of a love of colors, patterns and the diversity of shapes, Missus presents itself as a 100% Portuguese brand: inclusive and sustainable. The Missus concept rests on the conviction that a swimsuit should make the woman wearing it feel good — whatever her body. The collection includes different styles, cuts and sizes that meet real bodies, with an aesthetic that brings together sophistication, comfort and well-being. Each piece is designed so that a woman feels elegant, confident and herself. In production, Missus uses a certified recycled fabric — Econyl — a regenerated nylon fiber made from plastic waste recovered from oceans and landfills around the world. All manufacturing is done in Portugal, in partnership with an ethical production unit that guarantees fair wages and processes that minimize environmental impact. Missus collections are renewed each season, with inspirations ranging from Italian cities to Hawaii by way of São Tomé and Príncipe. The result is a range of vibrant, well-made pieces with a strong visual identity — ready for Portuguese beaches and for the world.
