Real Gin is a Portuguese brand born of a family project in Santo Isidro de Pegões, where the distillery produces a classic gin from a singular combination of thirteen botanicals. The name comes from the location: the present-day Estrada Nacional N4, where the distillery stands, was once known as the Estrada Real — the Royal Road. The recipe includes juniper, orange, lemon, lemon verbena, coriander seeds, ginger, allspice, pink peppercorn, peach, physalis and vanilla, giving a spirit with an intense lemon verbena aroma and a pronounced flavor of the peppers and the ginger. An artisanal Portuguese gin with a character of its own, carrying the identity and the flavors of its land into every glass.
