meia.dúzia is a Portuguese brand of artisanal condiments founded in 2012 in Vila Nova de Famalicão by two brothers with a passion for food and for art. What began as a creative exploration of genuinely Portuguese flavors became a pioneering name worldwide: the brand was the first anywhere to sell artisanal jams, chocolate spreads, sauces and olive pastes in tube form — inspired by artists' paint tubes. This packaging innovation is not only a matter of aesthetics. The tube preserves the ingredients better, makes portioning easier and reduces waste — a solution at once practical and sustainable, which broke with the conventional formats of the condiments market. The packaging is ecological and recyclable, aligning design with environmental awareness. As for the contents, meia.dúzia does not compromise. The products are made with excellent local ingredients — fruit with DOP and IGP certification, Portuguese wines and organic spices — combined with artisanal techniques that respect the natural flavor of each raw material.
