Sobre Amavela
Amavela is a Portuguese brand of handmade candles, created and produced in Porto. Each piece is hand-poured and hand-painted in small batches, using soy wax and a wooden wick — for a clean, long burn with a soft crackle. The work draws on Portuguese aesthetics: the light, the ocean, ceramics and azulejo tile patterns, reinterpreted as objects for everyday use. The pieces are organized into three collections — Heritage, inspired by tradition and Portuguese azulejos; Atlântica, tied to the coast and its colors; and Sazonal, with limited editions through the year. Alongside the candles, Amavela puts together gift sets ready to give. Because everything is painted by hand, no two pieces are alike.
