Vinagres Moreno is a Portuguese vinegar brand created by Casa Mendes Gonçalves, a Portuguese vinegar producer with more than 40 years of history, based in Golegã. The Moreno name was born in 1982 as a sub-brand of the company's pioneering fig vinegar, and was relaunched in October 2025 as a brand in its own right, with a wider range of products. The catalog includes fig balsamic vinegar, muscatel balsamic vinegar, aged vinegars, apple vinegar with kombucha and a red berry balsamic glaze. The brand positions vinegar not as a simple seasoning but as a versatile ingredient for balanced, creative eating, with chef Vítor Sobral on hand to demonstrate everyday recipes. Produced in Golegã, Vinagres Moreno draws on the experience Casa Mendes Gonçalves has built up as the largest vinegar producer in Portugal, joining traditional know-how to a renewed product range.
