Feitoria do Cacao is a Portuguese chocolate brand born after an inspiring trip to São Tomé and Príncipe, where the founders, Tomoko Suga and Sue Tavares, saw the cocoa production process up close. Moved by the humility of the local producers, they decided to create a brand that would respect the origin of the cocoa and honor the growers' work. Since 2017 Feitoria do Cacao has been winning international awards for its artisanal chocolate, produced in micro-batches and known as Bean-to-Bar. The brand is a pioneer of this kind of chocolate in Portugal, committed to quality and sustainability, paying fair prices for its raw material and helping keep producers motivated. Feitoria do Cacao challenges the perception of chocolate as a simple children's sweet, raising it to a food of the gods for every age.
