Tété é uma marca portuguesa de produtos regionais, fundada em 1960 em Loures.
Sobre Tété
Founded in 1960 by the Amaro family, Tété is a Portuguese dairy brand based in Lousa, in the municipality of Loures, and today run by the family's third generation. It started with a small production of fresh cheeses and grew into industrial production of requeijão whey cheeses, cured cheeses, butters and yogurts from cow, goat and sheep milk, with ISO 22000 food safety certification. It invests in innovation in partnership with universities and research centers — it was the first Portuguese company to produce goat's milk yogurt — and maintains a strong commitment to sustainability: a solar array of its own covering around 30% of the factory's electricity needs, an industrial plastic recycling loop, and a policy of selecting milk suppliers within a 100 km radius of the plant. In 2022 it opened the Espaço Memória Saloia, a museum project devoted to the local saloia culture of the countryside around Lisboa, and it was awarded the Prémio de Inovação Agroalimentar by the A2S (Associação para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável da Região Saloia).
