Yogan Creamery is a Portuguese vegan dairy brand based in Barcelos, specializing in alternatives to butter and cheese made from almonds, cashews and other plant ingredients. Founded in 2016 by Martinha Costa, it grew out of the search for minimally processed vegan alternatives that the founder could not find on the market. Its best-known product is Cajubert, a cashew-based alternative to Camembert, fermented and aged for two weeks, joined since 2023 by a seaweed-based vegan butter sold in Auchan supermarkets. It is stocked by national chains including Celeiro, Auchan and Continente, and exports to Spain, with plans to expand into Germany and Canada.
