Trinca Bio
Trinca Bio is a Portuguese organic products brand, founded in 2012 in Vila Nova da Barquinha.

About Trinca Bio
Trinca Bio is a small company in Vila Nova da Barquinha that makes mostly certified organic snacks, gluten-free and without refined sugar. It began in 2012, when its founder took a few of her recipes to sell at a fair in Abrantes. One of them was granola, which is still the house speciality. The recipes grew out of her experiments to take gluten and refined sugar out of the family pantry, and in 2013 she left a management job at a footwear brand to work on Trinca full time, which she now runs with her husband. The range includes organic gluten-free granolas, in flavours such as fig and walnut, goji and almond or cocoa and raspberry, gluten-free cookies in cocoa, lemon, and cranberry and orange, gluten-free bread (white, rustic, seeded and broa de milho cornbread) and almond and hazelnut spreads, plus nãotella, all made in small batches in the brand's own kitchen. Many products are vegan and suitable for coeliacs. The process is almost entirely by hand, and production takes place in Portugal. The brand works to reduce its footprint: the 400 g granola pack is home-compostable, and the outer box is uncoated cardboard from sustainably managed forests, printed with vegetable-based inks. Trinca Bio sells through its online shop, with free shipping on orders over €45 to mainland Portugal, and is stocked in more than 150 shops in Portugal and Spain.
